The Transition to College for Students with Disabilities

This session will provide an in-depth exploration of several topics, including  the laws safeguarding students with disabilities in college (and how they differ from high school), the disability disclosure process, requesting reasonable accommodations at the college level, the importance of self advocacy, and details about about the Pathways program, which offers enhanced academic support to eligible students. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to take an intimate campus tour and enjoy a luncheon.
